VCs invest in people first. A good team gives confidence not only in execution ability but in the depth of your insight into the opportunity. Your team slide should be a highlight reel, not a company directory. Stick to core leadership - the people who will make or break the venture. For a deck you present, consider just using logos from past employment/education in lieu of bios. As for advisors, if they're industry heavyweights, include them, but don't pad the page with nobodies.
Always. Team is consistently ranked as a primary deciding factor in why VCs invest.
Near the end. Typically right before forecasts and the financial ask. But if your team is of particular note and you're presenting in person consider elevating the slide to be right before you dive into the problem.
