Your summary slide is not just a recap; it's an instant litmus test. In just a few seconds, it should communicate your solution, leadership, traction, and trajectory. Investors (especially at the later stage) use this slide to quickly gauge if you're a good fit for their criteria and thesis before reading further. Remember that VCs are pattern-matching machines. A good summary slide can give them the signals they need to see you're the next big thing before moving on to the full pitch.
We typically axe this slide for early stage ventures to get right to the problem. It only really pays dividends once you have significant traction.
Front and center, immediately after your title slide or vision statement.
